» Dealing with site issues

Posted on Sat Feb 4th, 2017 @ 7:41pm by Commodore Oliver Lancaster in Out of Character

Hey guys,

Currently, we're suffering some website issues, affecting the ability to see posts and tag. If you encounter this issue, incognito browsing in windows chrome does allow for circumventing it. However, after each action, the site does require reloading in a different incognito window. It's a pain but does allow for normal operation during this time.

The issue is being worked on and will hopefully be resolved soon.

Hey guys,

Effective from now, we're being transferred to the USS Wolff. I'll be updating the site to reflect this, and don't worry. There's going to be an explanation for it that'll be awesome.

» The votes are in!

Hey guys,

So, the votes for the class change are in. The final tally was; 3 for Luna, 1 for Century and 2 abstains.

I have therefore contacted the TFCO and will be beginning the process to have us transferred in short order. Once it's confirmed, I'll be going back and retconning posts to put us on the new ship for the test.

» Conclusion of shake up

Posted on Thu Jan 26th, 2017 @ 11:13am by Commodore Oliver Lancaster in General News

Hey guys,

As the title of this article suggests, I am writing to you to confirm the conclusion of the recent internal shake up we have been having. As of today, the new head of the command structure is comprised of myself as CO, B'rur as XO and now Lieutenant Commander Hunter Anders as Chief of Security and Second Officer. This is a decision I'd reached a long time ago, but wished to discuss with him first before simply implementing it.

We are also now in the midst of our new mission, the Pelarik effect, and tomorrow, I shall be announcing the winner of the class change vote. I have been discussing the matter with the TFCO, and tbh, I may well go back and retcon it so we're taking the new ship for the experiment rather than the NPC one.

Welcome to the new age ladies and gentlemen. May our course remain straight and true.

» New XO

Posted on Sun Jan 22nd, 2017 @ 7:29pm by Commodore Oliver Lancaster in General News

Hey guys,

As promised, I'm here with an update, in fact, a dual update. First of all, after a brief discussion, I'm happy to announce the promotion of B'rur to the position of XO. Being a CO on the Archer, I know this is a player who can happily fill the role, and it will serve to give them additional experience of command to help build up their repertoire. Win win.

Secondly, the new mission is up. The Pelarik Effect. We're hosting a Romulan Scientist, who is working on a potential replacement for Warp Drive. Unfortunately, there will be side effects, sending us hurtling through space and possibly even realities! That's all I'll be announcing via news, but if people wish to hear more before we get stuck in, feel free to drop me a line.

Mission: Locked Up

Oliver walked back into the holodec. After changing back into his uniform, he'd had Halaylah reconfigure it to act as a holocommunications room. He had a message to send out.

"Computer, activate Communications Program Lancaster 1." He spoke "Broadcast on Code 47."

The room shimmered for a moment, before being…

Mission: Locked Up
Posted on Thu Jun 15th, 2017 @ 7:58am by Commodore Oliver Lancaster

Oliver was transported into the interrogation room once more. This was odd. Normally, the Tholians brought him here while he was asleep, to try and disorient him. As always, the voice of his interrogator began talking.

"What do you know of the Pelarik drive, Oliver?" His captor asked.

"I thought…

B'rur sat in her cell. she laid on the cold hard bunk and stared up at the ceiling. She knew that time, passes slowly, when bored. Which time followed at the same rate of speed despite if your doing nothing and bored. But, it didn't change a thing for the…

Oliver slowly came to in a dull, grey room, brightly lit by red overhead lights. The room was warm, a little warmer than he'd like. It made him glad they'd stripped him of his uniform, replacing it with a simple, orange jumpsuit with black boots and a number printed in…

Oliver sat in the center of the Bridge. Halaylah had had her teams working all hands on deck, and they'd managed to enable the deflector to some small degree. However, anything faster than warp three would rip the ship apart. Needless to say, their move to rescue the Archer was…

Commodore's Log, Stardate.... Yeah, probably should've checked that.

It's funny, I always thought that when I got promoted to the Admiralty, I'd be delegated solely to flying a desk. I never thought it would involve another Starship.

The Wolff, a Luna class Starship, is certainly built for the kind of…

Captain's Log, Supplemental.

I just received word from Jack Hendricks. He's offered me a promotion to Fleet Captain, and Zane's old job.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted. After all, Fleet Captain Oliver Lancaster sounds better than just Captain.

And yet, I'm hesitating. I can't put my…

Captain's Log.

We recently returned from the Asrani conference. It was a less than simple matter; apparently, the people they were negotiating with weren't all keen to see an alliance. A group of them had infiltrated the conference, and took it hostage, demanding the Asrani submit to their people's rule.…
